Biblical-Based Transformational Coaching

In 2021, I was unexpectedly diagnosed with cancer. I was bedridden and in constant pain. I couldn’t eat and literally needed someone to come and turn me over in bed every so often. At that time Coach Lorraine would share the word with me and encourage me along with other friends and family members. But I realized at that time that Coach Lorraine had a special ministry to bring a word to me that was meaningful and had a direct application to what I was going through.

Before working with Coach Lorraine with Child of God Diaries, I really felt like I was a person drowning in the middle of a large body of water. I would have panic attacks and find myself suddenly hyperventilating in the middle of the day and I could not speak to my children about this. It felt like the enemy was not going to give up attacking me and that eventually I would give up the fight. Through her “Empowering Encouragement to help you Endure Sickness” coaching program, Coach Lorraine and I would set targets together and agree on them in prayer like the fact that I needed to be able to sit up in bed, to walk again and be able to eat. As she continued to coach me and minister the word of God to me, we witnessed God’s miraculous hand take over and I was able to walk again. In addition to being able to walk, over a short period of time, I noticed that I no longer needed the pain meds that I was prescribed to manage the cancer all through answered prayers from God.

Coach Lorraine and I also then embarked on the "Surviving to Thriving" Independent Mother Coaching program and I learnt how to remove the lies that the enemy had planted in my mind and to think differently. I learnt a transformative way of thinking which has allowed me to see myself and my life from a different perspective. I was a person who constantly lived in Fear, who had no hope and did not look forward to a future beyond a certain date and that made my faith declarations empty. After the diagnosis, I had cast all my hopes and dreams aside and was only living for the next day and sometimes from hour to hour. Through these 2 coaching programs I was literally given back my Life.

All my hopes, dreams and plans were restored. Coach Lorraine has this ability to lead you to your self-realization until you self-diagnose and accept who you really are. Its literally like you have a smudge on your face and you personally don’t know what is affecting you until she comes along and gently wipes it off your face helping you realize what it is that has been holding you back all this time. Coach Lorraine has been leading me and guiding me into realizing the thought patterns or belief systems from my past that have been blocking me from stepping into the future that God has planned for me.
